Flat George Goes Into Space

Hi its the real George here, finely after months of waiting
(I put my name down for it on June 12th 2010)
Flat me was lauched into space on the
STS-133 its last fight at 4.53pm Feb 24th 2011.

When the fight returns I can print off a certificate to say I was in space!!
Hey Dad lets see you put a pin in the map for this one lol!!!!
You can see from the photo I hadn't even had my first hair cut!

So I've put Flat George's name down for STS-134 as part of his World Tour

Its reel easy to do, but if you want a photo like I have, you must do a sceen shot or take a photo, because after the page you get to crop your photo you don't get a print out of it.

So come and join FG on the next mission STS-134 it will be a blast!
That will put some air miles on his card.
(Dad can you update my air miles card please ;)

See Yea George xxx

FG in OZ

Hi Everyone,
Went to the Farmers' Market this morning.  I had the job of choosing treats
for the girls.  Decisions, decisions, decisions.  You'll have to go to
Downunder Daisy
to see what I picked.
Cheers, FG

Flat George on Tour Rensselaer NY

I am at Betty Frezon's house USA She is a quilter and thought I'd like to meet a
old quilt block of a dog who resembles me.  Also some postcards of the Adirondacks NY
I might go there this summer.

Got a brief tour of some quilts.

Christmas stockings for the needy.

These are neat.  Will hold a lot of stuff.

Down stairs to visit her big quilting frame and
machine.

This is pretty big.

It is set up with a care quilt on it.  Care quilts go to people in need or who have suffered a loss

This is the machine that does the quilting.
Three layers on the frame ready to go.  Interesting tour.  Flat George seemed impressed..
PS Thanks for visiting us.  I will try to bring you  to Brant Lake in the Adirondacks this summer.

FG Touring NSW Australia

Yesterday I went on a long drive through the countryside to Molong.  It's a
small town, population 1600, out in the middle of nowhere.  But it has a
Gelato Factory.  We took our time enjoying the scenery, stopping for Morning
Tea.  I had the scones with jam and cream, then did a quick tour of the town
ending up at the Gelato Factory.  Choosing was very difficult, but I went
with the Peach and Raspberry.  Had a taste of the Honey crunch, too.
Recommend both.  Then, full as a tick,  had a leisurely drive home along the
back roads.  Cheers, FG
